Description

A favorite among the lunch bunch, this is one of the most requested recipes. We serve it over a bed of rice.

Main Ingredients:

Ingredients

1 lb
Beef (Sliced thin)
1
Onion (large) (Sliced)
1⁄4 c
Soy Sauce
2 T
White Wine
2 T
Apple Cider Vinegar
1 T
Brown Sugar
2 t
Sesame Oil
2 clv
Garlic (Smashed and chopped)
1⁄2 t
Red Pepper Flakes
1 pk
Frozen Brocolli Florets (No need to defrost - broccoli stays crunchier/greeneer)

Instructions

  1. Add the liquid, garlic, and spices in a bowl
  2. Stir until blended.
  3. Add beef to the mixture in the bowl
  4. Place onions and contents of the bowl in the slow cooker.
  5. Toss.
  6. Cook on high for 4 hours.
  7. About 1/2 hour before serving add entire bag of broccoli, cover and continue to cook.
  8. Thicken with a slurry .

Notes

Thinly sliced meat will be more tender than when cut thicker.

You can get an even more flavorful dish if you let the meat marinade in the liquids and seasoning overnight.
